On 25th of January 2025 SMAK Pancasila Borong community is truly a joy gathering together as the sign of gratitude for all the God’s kindness to all humankind experiences in 2024th and to begin a new live in 2025th. Gathering together is a beautiful moment season of Christmas to be celebrated together. This Christmas celebration is a time filled with love, peace, and hope also joy under the theme “Let Us Now Go to Bethlehem,” we are reminded of the journey that began over 2,000 years ago.
The biblical story in Luke 2:15 the shepherds were hearing the glorious announcement from the angels, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”
In this joyful celebration was begun with a holy Eucharist celebration which presided by three catholic priests that are: Father Simon Nama, Father Wilhelmus Riyadi Findoro as parish priest and a Claretian priest fr. Vino. After holy mass is followed by several joyful presentation from the students.
Reflect on biblical phrase, I’m inviting SMASK Pancasila community to go now to Bethlehem together to find a new peace, a new joy, a new love, and a new happiness. Let’s leave behind fear, doubt, and anxiety feelings. In recently month we are in unstable situation because many activities which have to do. The firstly we are still in setting up new class rooms. The lacking of rooms the teachers and officers have to scatter in in several building corners. The students also are placed some simple rooms. Secondly, exchanges the new school principal. I am As a new school principal of SMASk borong sometime confuse how to make the SMASK community back to the stable situation. I must do extra effort to make this community back to harmony. Thirdly, I have to adjust with previous school principal policy, but the same time I have to correct it some mistake that happened in the past and set up new policy which make this community back to stable harmony. This situation of course is not easy job. Luckly, the grace of God never abandoned me work alone he always presents to help me through presence of my teachers and officers that help to make all the jobs becoming easier. We are hand to hand to carry out the school Vision and mission become more visible and become true. We have to perform back togetherness and the unity that we had been setting up had been holding in the past. Let’s make this SMASK grow and fruitful.
In the speech of Father Simon Nawa, S.Fil, said,” the aim of Christmas celebration gathering is to set up back consolidation that impact of several past situation. We have to begin with the new one to always live in unity and work together as one community living. This the message of our Christmas celebration today. Father Wilhelmus Riyadi Findoro, S. Fil, in his homily talk about the spiritual meaning of journey to Bethlehem now. Geographically Bethlehem is a place located in Palestine. In 2000th years ago this place was a remote and very isolated area, in there our savior born. Nowadays Bethlehem become religious place and even become big and a famous city. SMASK Pancasila also must be a big and a famous place for all people. Make it Pancasila become interest school for many students. That’s why the unity in journey must walk together. SMASK Pancasila must able to be a barometer school for other school in east Manggarai zone or region. Let’s us nourishing our brotherhood living.
